Iona golf course

gotta love this unique golf course. Amazing setting and I actually thought a good number of the holes were interestingly situated and set up. An emphasis on the traditional 'blind greens', so a map of the course would be helpful - especially on the back 9 where finding the green you're aiming at was really difficult, they're well hidden! I believe a map is available from teh spar in the village.

This Course is just like life, I don't know where it is heading but I know there is a destination.FYI you get the Score Card in the Post Office

For me it is the most beautiful golf course. Lovely little green and amazing view. Love it!

I traveled to England and Scotland as a chaperone with our church's youth group, visiting sites of religious significance, among them Iona. The day before we traveled to Iona we payed a brief visit to St. Andrew's. As an avid golfer, it was a bittersweet day. I got to see The Old Course, but there I was in Scotland, the birthplace of golf, and there would be no time or opportunity for me to play while I was there. Fast forward to Iona. After arriving, we were taken on a walking tour of the island by a guide. At midday, we paused on a hilltop for a rest and a bite of lunch. As I sat there eating my sandwich and looking out over the coastline, I spotted what appeared to be a flagstick, standing in the middle of a pasture with a cow casually grazing beside it. Excited beyond measure, I quickly approached the guide and asked him if what I was seeing was real. Oh yes
