Carlton & Oulton Marshes
Very pleasant easy trail around marshland that is gradually being turned back to it's natural condition.Just spent a lovely couple of hours on Easter Sunday walking the Red Route. Weather wonderful. The car park was pretty full but no problem at all getting tea and cakes at the café.

Would hesitate to recommend Paul and Adam. They did an outstanding job and really went the extra mile despite being reasonably priced. They hand built a cupboard for me to match a discontinued range I already had. They were incredibly professional and had genuine skill far above and beyond just someone who assembles flat pack.I cannot give high enough praise to them.

Kyle Community Facilities
Only used the shower as we have our own toilet, 50p card tap machine to get in. Considering it’s a public facility and coin operated I was impressed, better than 90% of campsite showers! Very friendly lady came in to clean it too. 3 pound coins needed so come prepared but you get 8 minutes which is plenty of time to wash hair and the count down timer is handy, again better than most camp sites where you end up standing in the cold with conditioner in your hair having paid £20+ for the “privilege” that’s if the shower isn’t an extra charge anyway! Thank you Scotland for making an effort to welcome van lifers.

Albion Bathrooms Kitchens Electricals
This is not a review posted during the honeymoon period following installation. My bathroom and cloakroom were completed September 2019. Reflecting now, it's easy to see competent people deliver results however excellent people deliver fabulous results. I landed at Albion via a google search and concluded the company was worthy of a visit to discuss how they could assist us. The showroom displayed desirable suits complimented with knowledgeable staff, with experience of guiding not railroading customers to a beneficial outcome. After a design/consultation process (all confirming knowledge/experience) we arrived at a final build speck. At the time we were disappointed to wait several months for the installation to commence but top tradesman are always in demand. I discussed the installation nuances with Chris several times and was extremely confident we were both on the same page in regard to expectation/quality/finish. Uniquely, we decided to vacate the property and leave the installation team the freedom to do their job. (On holiday to Italy). Needless to say, we were/are extremely pleased with the choice of materials design/layout and above all finish. Three years on, its as good as the day it was completed. My wife cherishes her investment daily and wipes down to a sparkle every day its used. Recently we had an issue with the shower rail handles and whilst searching for a solution I noticed there may well be a warranty on the shower rail. I contacted Albion to ask the question and within 4 days (including weekend) i received new handles for the shower. You may well find yourself in search of a dedicated team to take care of a substantial investment in your home, look no further you won't be disappointed. My expectations were exceeded at the time, I'm thrilled they wish to support/help. Once a customer always a customer clearly!!

Beautiful area with free car park, creatively designed playground built into hill, new visitor centre with amazing views which has toilets, cafe and gift shop. Range of walks available with various bird hides and viewing platforms, as well as other things for kids - eg. posts with engraved animals which you could probably create rubbings of if you brought paper and crayons.

Liverpool Watersports Centre
Kayaking in the Royal Albert Dock was one of the best things I done in Liverpool. The instructors are really friendly and make it a fuss-free experience. Once we were in our kayaks and had they had explained where we could go they left us to it. £15 for 1 hour is really good and you have plenty of time to Kayak around the dock once you get there.

The Bond Hotel, Blackpool
The hotel is poor for disabled ameneties, rooms dated & too small in most cases, food is diabolical, bland, poor choice & always luke warm. Staff however were excellent, couldn't do enough for you.
