Normally I would give them 5 * , but due to a missing order , we had to put the job on hold .

I constantly find this company cheaper than competitors, with what has to be the tidiest builders yards you can find having visited several branches, well stocked and with staff that do provide service unlike some others. I recommend all of them and in particular I use the Whitchurch branch. No I do not work for Huws Gray.

Always helpful and friendly staff

Yard staff really good. Staff on counter (not all) are grumpy slow and unfriendly. Better merchants locally sadly. Please give some counter staff a dose of ProzacSame again today went in ignored by all staff and three blokes arguing over a computer not even acknowledging you.

This depot is a disaster and we hate buying anything from them. Massively over priced even for just a small bag of sand, in fact 3 time the price from B&Q and completely unreliable if you place an order for delivery. Use another branch if it must be Buildbase for your order. A much better builder merchants is on the same trading estate so I would advise to use them or Buildbase in Melksham. Probably the best thing this depot could do is close down and build houses on the site !

Super friendly staff

Needed some sand for finishing off a large section of block paving, most places were out of stock however Market Rasen Buildbase had some. Ordered online but didn't hear anything, sent an email and got a telephone reply apologising as the order had gone astray, Jamie stated to pop in anytime and collect. On arrival later that day the order was ready for me, a lorry was unloading so Jamie loaded the sand onto a trolley and delivered it to my vehicle outside the gates.Things do go wrong sometimes but the measure of any company is the ability to put things right when they do and Jamie and his team did just that.

Kyle agreed to come and see our garden wall, which is in need of repair. On the first occasion he called us when already one hour late to tell us he wouldn't be coming. We agreed to another time at which he just didn't turn up. Kyle totally wasted my time - twice. I had sent him a photo of the wall and would have had no problem with him telling me he didn't want to do the work.

Having spoken to a number of funeral directors it was clear from the very beginning when talking to Liz that AJ Brooke were head and shoulders above the rest, both in terms of compassion but also for knowledge and understanding.Liz was absolutely fantastic in answering my (many) questions, and really explained the process and all options very clearly and in an easy to understand manner. Gemma was also brilliant, very knowledgeable and understanding and made it very clear that they aim to pay the utmost respect to your loved ones.The actual service was very respectful and all family members agreed that the way AJ Brooke handled themselves was phenomenal. Highly recommend to everyone.
